Scholarship interviews at the finalist stage are typically conversational rather than adversarial. Committees have already read your file; they're checking whether the person matches the application.

Prepare three or four specific stories rather than rehearsed answers. Most questions are variations of 'tell us about something you did,' and having concrete material ready beats improvising.

Have a question ready for them, too. Asking what the organization hopes scholars do with the award reads as genuine interest, because it is.
